You have a treat in store with From Nothing 352 From Nothing by Ken Goldstein is unlike any novel I have read It carries so much punch and intrigue that I could not put it down The tale carries me through one man s journey from a corporate world to the lifestyle of a rock star This book shows what happens when the main character rolls like a dice on a gambling table The chances are fifty fifty and the risks are high An opportunity of taking a new road to life comes with consequences But this character keeps rolling making the best with each roll I liked the do not look back attitude and how Victor moves forward despite his past life being destroyed The remaining cast varied in positions and levels of life It was quite interesting to follow them The main focus was redemption for Victor It was a long yet tough journey for him.

Nothing to see here book He s full of doubt about decisions he s made in the past and decision he needs to make From the chaotic board room meeting with flying laptops to the lounges of Las Vegas Victor is on a wild ride. From nottingham to cornwall For anyone that s ever dreamed of being a star and PLAYING on the big stage this is the book for you The ending was a big surprise for me I still don t know if I like it I really liked Synthia with an S but I guess that s the way it had to be. I recommend this book to anyone who likes to read enjoys music has an interest in the world of business and technology likes a good mystery story believes in love and understands the importance of healing old wounds This book works on all these levels I thought I d give it a quick look see but found I wanted to read a little each night before I went to bed Then I couldn t put it down And finally I wanted to begin reading it again after I finished Plus there are some twists and unexpected turns that will make you want to talk to the author in person and ask him how he did that All in all I can tell you whether he found it or not is up for discovery I enjoyed watching Victor grow as a man throughout novel He went from being someone to nothing then to somebody going somewhere His future held hope Overall I would recommend this read to all There s a little of everything for readers to like relate to and connect withI received this copy from the publisher This is my voluntary review 352 From the beginning this book had me hooked Victor Selo a software developer and formidable boss to some pretty awesome employees has a passion for something other than software Rock music Selo faces tough decisions that may lead to dire consequences but knows he is surrounded by great people who inspire him and stand by him This page turner details corruption in Silicon Valley and Selo s journey through his life as a tech guru and ambitious musician But just like any other great story life gets in the way Can Selo overcome This was my first Goldstein read but I will be sure to pick up his other works I highly recommend this read to anybody who wishes to be taken down a roller coaster of fun and awe 352 As I thoroughly enjoyed the messy ride through Silicon Valley of Ken Goldstein s This is Rage read my review which I recommend if you haven t picked it up I was pleased to get an ARC of his new book From Nothing. Do nothing book From Nothing is many things the book s title the rags to riches to rags story of Victor Selo a self made success grown from foster homes to third rate rock singer to Silicon Valley middle man with stock options and the band s name That s right there s a band. From Nothing epubs air I loved the satire exposing the inner workings of tech in This is Rage so I expected to enjoy Victor s tech drama the most He finds himself a key player in a corporate takeover of his company with everyone from Wall Street bankers to board members to his boss to engineers with killer viruses in their pockets looking to him for the next move Due to his musical background he finds himself hiding out amidst a Las Vegas cover band From Nothing Surprisingly the section featuring Victor s time with the band is where the story came alive to me Not in Victor Selo s love of classic rock but in visionary lead singer Torch and the rest of the band as Victor fills in on guitar living in a Vegas world far from the Marin County one he is accompanied with.
